TECHNISOL ENVIRONNEMENT :: Management System

Management System

An environmental management system (EMS) is like an insurance policy, which can reduce the risk of legal and financial troubles in the environmental field. An EMS allows a company to better plan its investments in the environmental domain, reduce the risk of incidents which could lead to lawsuits, and have a positive effect on share value by maintaining environmental integrity. An EMS is also part of a due diligence program, when it is made an integral part of a company's day to day operations.

An EMS may be part of ISO 14001 accreditation. Technisol Environnement's professionals will help the client choose and develop the different components of the EMS.

Among possible components:

  • Systems procedures
  • Operational procedures
  • Organisational structure
  • Responsibilities

Technisol Environnement also offers a range of packages, which meets its clients' needs. Other services in this area include:

  • Preparation of emergency measures
  • Preparation of training programs
  • Preparation of communications programs
  • Preparation of EMS audit programs
  • Integration of health and safety to the EMS
  • Environmental performance evaluation (EPE)

An EPE is based on an environmental management performance indicator or an operational performance indicator.
