Certificate of Authorisation and Permitting
The increase in the number of laws and regulations concerning the environment has had many repercussions on industry. Today there is a marked increase in the numbers of certificates, permits, environmental impact studies, and regulations in all environmental fields.
Anyone in charge of a project which has the potential of affecting the environment must obtain a certificate of authorisation in compliance with articles 22 (environmental protection), 32 (water quality and waste water management) or 48 (air quality) of the Quebec Environmental Quality Act.

Most of these control measures require sampling and analysis of various discharges (waste water, air emissions, residual hazardous materials, and other residues) to complete the technical evaluation. In the case of authorisations, Technisol Environnement can identify and assess both qualitatively and quantitatively different treatment system alternatives.
In certain cases a more detailed analysis of environmental aspects and impacts may be necessary. This means that impact studies or repercussion studies must be performed in order to fulfil the requirements of the Ministry of the Environment.
